More Irish Travels

Yesterday we travelled up to the Ulster American Folk Village - a great collection of old houses and then on to Belleek where there is a beautiful pottery.

In the afternoon we drove on to Killybeggs and after finding accommodatin, drove out to the highest sea cliffs in Europe. The scenery was absolutely spectacular. On the drive back we passed turf cutting for fuel and wonderful country scenery.

Ooooh, turf cutting for fuel. This I would like to see, I must have read too many dreadful romance novels that talk about burning turf. I probably borrowed them off you, Mum. heh.
Dad, hope you managed to restrain Mum from buying pottery at Belleek, it would be hard to trot that around Europe.

So how much pottery did Dad let you buy Mum? And who is going to schlep it round Europe for the next three months?

Having just written that I just read what theotherbear wrote and realised that once again our minds are running on parrallel tracks. I obviously need to check for posts earlier (or later).
